Quem não conhece a velha história do menino que não queria crescer?

Quando criança, achávamos que crescer seria a melhor coisa que poderia acontecer, mas a vida adulta chegou e com ela veio responsabilidades sem fim, pressões sociais, estresse no trabalho, boletos para pagar e nenhuma magia de conto de fadas para ajudar.

Aqueles com  a  síndrome do “peter pan”, demonstram comportamentos infantis e não condizentes com a idade. A maioria dessas pessoas sabem que agem diferente do costumeiro, mas se recusam a crescer. Possuem muito medo de serem rejeitadas pela sociedade e, principalmente, de serem julgadas.

Algumas das características de quem possui essa síndrome são:

  • Insegurança;
  • Pouca autoestima
  • Se relacionam com pessoas mais novas;
  • Sempre dão desculpas para tudo;
  • Não possuem responsabilidades;
  • Insatisfação;
  • Não se esforçam para conseguir algo;
  • Egoístas;
  • Gostam de ordenar e criticar;
  • Necessitam chamar atenção;
  • Se comportam como crianças;
  • Choram com facilidade.

Alguns que não entendem ou não identificam a síndrome do Peter Pan, podem sentir admiração por pessoas que agem assim, porque tais ações podem ser confundidas com “ter uma vida leve”, quando na verdade, elas possuem uma incapacidade de cuidar de si mesmas e assumir a responsabilidade de suas próprias ações.

Reconhecer que essas ações não são reflexos de uma vida leve, mas provavelmente um complexo a ser tratado é o primeiro passo chegar a raiz de como isso se desenvolve, depois, com a ajuda de um profissional e terapia, a terra da fantasia pode ser uma lembrança distante.
